If I can cook it, bake it and then eat it, so can you!

Yes, that's Jason Mraz and my all time favorite Rob Thomas at the Blythdale Children's hospital in Valhalla NY. It was WPLJ's 18Th annual Holiday Spectacular fundraising party. It was such a great day and it really gets me in the mood for Christmas. The Holiday Express was there also singing for the children. I help out during the holiday season for Toy's for Tot's.

When I came home today I did some baking and of coarse I have to share this recipe with you all. It's a no brainier and everyone loves them! You don't even have to turn on the oven, which is the best part.

  • PEANUT BUTTER BALLS

  • 1 stick of butter

  • 1 1lb crunchy peanut butter

  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar

  • 3 cups of Rice Krispies

In large bowl, mix together butter, sugar and peanut butter, then spoon in rice krispies. Refrigerate, make into small balls about 1 inch round and dip them in chocolate. Then back in the refrigerator.

Now get ready to put on some pounds! These are good and they pop right in your mouth. I don't think I ever met anyone who didn't like them, unless you allergic to peanuts of coarse!

Today I used Bakers semi-sweet squares. I just put them in the microwave and then dipped the peanut butter balls. It worked out quite well.
